"Once a year, the gates of Hell open, unleashing demons and monsters upon the world. By dawn, they are meant to return.
But five years ago, they didn’t.
The skies have never cleared since. The world is rotting. Civilization has collapsed as the creatures grow bolder with each passing day.
Humanity has retreated into underground bunkers, hoping that one day Hell will grow tired and leave them in peace.
Supplies are running out. Fear is spreading.
Someone has to go to the surface to see what remains of the world.

In this VR experience you play the lucky (or unlucky) civilian who has been chosen to go to the surface and investigate the world above that was once your home but is now an unrecognizable nightmare.
Experience the first level in this demo as you leave the safety of the bunker and make your way to the surface.

Install instructions
1. Unzip into desired location.
2. Connect to your desktop using your VR headset of choice (I use Meta Quest 3).
3. Click on the "Devil's Night Out" application icon.
4. Enjoy!!

A nice looking and playing horror game!
Can you kill the alien? The gun seemed to have no effect. I tried shooting the oxygen tanks thinking they might explode but no. And I couldn't figure out how to reload.
When I first started the game I already had the yellow keycard and some ammo in my inventory! It was only on the second attempt (when they were not there) that I had to explore.
It would be nice if you could skip the intro in the lift when you restart.
The safe combination should change each play otherwise you can just open it without having to do a search.
I found opening the keycard doors was not the easiest. They had a mind of their own.

Yes, you can kill the monster, it just takes quite a few bullets :)
You can press the trigger on the controller where you hold the magazine, this will reload the gun. I have in mind to change the way this works in the future, maybe reload by moving magazine into the gun for example.
It shouldn't be possible to have the keycard and ammo from the start, as you get these later on. Not sure what has happened there..
I love your suggestions on changing the safe code each game and being able to skip the start scene.
